American Heart Association’s 2019 Phoenix Heart Walk

Over $30,000 raised for the American Heart Association

For the fifth year in a row, Alliance Bank of Arizona joined the American Heart Association for its Phoenix-based Heart Walk to raise funds to promote heart health awareness.

During 2019, over 100 participants raised over $30,000 for this important cause. Nationwide, the AHA boasts one million walkers with a $2 million fundraising goal.

"This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, and I appreciate your dedication and commitment to this organization," said Alliance Bank CEO Don Garner. "Through your support of the Heart Walk, you're not only helping people in our local community, you're also helping the American Heart Association maintain and create programs and services for survivors, fund research for innovative new treatments and help people lower their risk."

For nearly 100 years the American Heart Association has been dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke in the U.S. The Heart Walk is its premier event that celebrates survivors and raises funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heart disease and stroke.
