
Dan Babayan is managing director of the Securities-Based Lending group at Western Alliance Bank.
A 30- year banking veteran, Mr. Babayan leads the team that offers securities-backed lines of credit designed for clients of independent broker dealers and registered investment advisors. Borrowers for these type of credit lines include high-net-worth individuals and small business owners, allowing them to stay on track with financial goals without needing to liquidate securities.
Mr. Babayan has extensive expertise in the securities-based lending industry, with previous leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns & Co., Dow Jones, Wells Fargo and City National Bank.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Rutgers University and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.
