Katie McDowell joined Western Alliance Bank in 2023 and brings nearly 20 years of experience to her role as Senior Director, Aerospace, Defense and Government Contracting.
In her role, Ms. McDowell works closely with aerospace, defense and government services companies on their banking needs, providing credit, acquisition financing, foreign exchange, treasury management, corporate cards and more. Ms. McDowell brings deep industry experience to Western Alliance Bank, having previously held similar positions at City National Bank, Wells Fargo, GE Capital and Janes Capital Partners.
Ms. McDowell holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Brown University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Management, where she studied Finance and Investment Management. Outside of her professional role, she also serves on the Steering Committee for the Aerospace & Defense Forum, Orange County Chapter and is also an avid sailor, having placed fifth at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
