Mieke Holkeboer

Vice President Commercial Banking

Mieke Holkeboer is vice president, commercial banking, for Western Alliance’s Public and Nonprofit Finance group. Based in Los Angeles, she serves clients throughout the country, including charter and independent schools, senior living communities and other nonprofit organizations.

Ms. Holkeboer joined Western Alliance Bank in 2015 and has 15 years of public finance industry experience. She began her career in public finance as a senior municipal bond analyst for Nuveen Investments in 2003.

Ms. Holkeboer serves as a board member for Women in Public Finance Los Angeles Chapter and California Collegiate Charter School.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Wellesley College, a Master of Arts degree from University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University. Ms. Holkeboer completed her post-graduate studies with a Ph.D. from University of Chicago.
