Rob Nemon is Chief Credit Officer (Interim) for Western Alliance Bank.
As CCO, Mr. Nemon is the senior executive of Western Alliance’s credit administration department, with oversight of the organization’s credit and lending processes and functions. Mr. Nemon performs a critical role in establishing and maintaining Western Alliance’s credit risk architecture and strong asset quality.
Mr. Nemon has over 25 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Western Alliance in 2022, Mr. Nemon held senior-level leadership roles in commercial banking, leveraged finance, and private equity investing at Santander Bank, Citizens Financial Group and Bank of America. Most recently, he served as Head of Underwriting and Portfolio Management at Santander Bank, N.A., where he was responsible for all first line credit approval, underwriting and portfolio management activities on the bank’s commercial loan portfolio.
Mr. Nemon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
