Strengthening Our Communities

To advance economic growth, we believe every community should have access to quality education, safe and affordable housing, job opportunities, transportation and health care. Bank of Nevada takes great pride in our proactive and consistent lending and investments, grants and donations to underserved communities, low- and moderate-income individuals, and the nonprofits that serve them.

Nonprofit Assistance

Our commitment to growing Southern Nevada’s nonprofit base is an essential value for Bank of Nevada. Members of our team actively support nonprofit organizations in the Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Mesquite communities, often serving on multiple boards and committees. Our Community Alliance Program, which features competitive banking products including checking, Money Market, Analysis and Certificate of Deposit accounts, reflects this strong commitment.

Employee Volunteer Program – Bank Employees for a Stronger Tomorrow (B.E.S.T.)

The B.E.S.T employee volunteer program encourages employees to participate in philanthropic opportunities for the benefit of making our community a better place to live, work and learn. Employees give their time, talent, and resources to various nonprofit organizations by providing financial education and mentoring, participating in walks, food drives and blood drives, and being involved in other community service activities.

Community Development Lending

From financing affordable housing and creating industrial parks to expanding medical services and renovating schools, we encourage civic and business leaders to join us in promoting meaningful revitalization and economic development throughout Southern Nevada.

Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

Bank of Nevada offers Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) to help qualified individuals grow their savings to purchase a home, business, or pay for college courses. Account holders pay no fees, and their funds are typically matched by a sponsoring nonprofit organization.

Federal Home Loan Grants

Through Western Alliance Bank, Bank of Nevada has access to the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) community investment grant program. We work with not-for-profits and the FHLB to grant down payment assistance for low-to-moderate income families.
