Bank of Nevada Receives Excellence Award from Mesquite Chamber

Bank of Nevada’s Mesquite location received the 2019 Financial Services Excellence Award for its consistent customer service, friendly staff, community involvement, and the full range of financial products and services it offers to the community.

The award was presented to Dan Wright, director of commercial banking at Bank of Nevada’s Mesquite location, by Chamber President and CEO Carol Kolson during the 2019 Best of Mesquite Chamber Awards luncheon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

There were four finalists for the award, with Bank of Nevada receiving the majority of votes from Chamber members. Each member or member organization was allowed just one vote as part of the selection process.

“I am especially proud of this award because Bank of Nevada was nominated by someone in the Mesquite business community and because it was voted upon by the Chamber membership,” said Wright, who has been at the Mesquite location since 2006. “Our experienced staff here in Mesquite and the service they provide our clients, combined with the responsive products we provide our customers, played a significant role in us receiving this award.”

“Bank of Nevada is well-loved in this community,” says Mesquite Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Carol Kolson.

According to Kolson, during the voting process, Chamber members noted that Bank of Nevada staff greet their customers by name, and are often the first to volunteer their time toward important projects benefitting the community. A few members also mentioned how much they appreciate the effort Mesquite staff put into the location’s seasonal decorations.

As the Chamber’s leader, Kolson said she very much appreciates Bank of Nevada’s willingness to support the growing business community in Mesquite.

“Bank of Nevada has stepped forward many times to sponsor Chamber events, and we are extremely grateful for their support,” she said.
