As senior director, David C. Torgerson brings more than 40 years of financial services experience to his role at Torrey Pines Bank, with an expertise in construction and real estate lending.
As a real estate specialist, Mr. Torgerson oversees real estate underwriting for Torrey Pines Bank and also helps manage a large portfolio of legacy real estate customers. Prior to his current position, Mr. Torgerson held senior vice president, vice president and real estate loan officer positions at Lloyds Bank/Sanwa Bank, National Bank of Long Beach/Topdanmark, Southern California Bank/U.S. Bank, Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo. He started his banking career at Bank of Utah.
Mr. Torgerson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family Financial and Estate Planning with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Outside of his professional role, Mr. Torgerson dedicates his time to volunteer where he presently focuses on serving and mentoring local youth. He has also been active in playing and coaching sports throughout his life.
