Steve Black joined the Torrey Pines Bank team in 2004 and brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as senior vice president, real estate.
In his role, Mr. Black is responsible for business development, loans and deposits for real estate clients at Torrey Pines Bank. Prior to his current position, Mr. Black was the founder and president of Sunrise Capital Corporation and held various roles in the banking industry at First Union Bank, The Money Store Investment corporation and Coldwell Banker Commercial. Throughout his career, he has consistently earned recognition for outstanding sales performance.
Mr. Black holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California Los Angeles. Outside of his professional role, Mr. Black devotes time to volunteering with the Challenged Athletes Foundation San Diego and Pedal for a Cause San Diego. He is also involved with National Association for Industrial and Office Parks, the commercial real estate development association.
