Team Members Honored as YWCA TWIN Awards Nominees

On Friday, June 24, YWCA of San Diego County presented the 22nd annual In the Company of Women benefit luncheon to celebrate extraordinary women and their remarkable achievements. As part of this signature event, the Tribute to Women & Industry Awards (TWIN) recognizes women in a managerial, executive or leadership role for their extraordinary accomplishments in the Mentor, Humanitarian and Visionary categories.

Torrey Pines Bank is proud to have two team members honored as nominees for this year’s TWIN Mentor Award, which recognizes those who have helped women in the workplace achieve their potential by providing career guidance and advancement opportunities. 

Congratulations to Torrey Pines Bank’s Alyssa Harris and Judi Ides for their nominations. Their leadership and contributions help pave the way for other women in banking and finance as they serve as role models and advocate for others.

Alyssa Harris, Human Resources Business Partner at Torrey Pines Bank

Alyssa has been with Torrey Pines Bank since 2015, serving as a trusted resource for people at all levels of the organization and supporting the advancement of women across the business. She has invested two years of training in governmental reporting requirements for the company, including affirmative action and equal employment opportunity, and become a vocal participant in Torrey Pines Bank’s Women’s Resource Group, working toward the vision of having an engaged, empowered, educated and elevated workforce. Alyssa has served in various capacities for the group and has never lost passion or purpose, keeping the conversation and interest in the group’s mission alive. She also serves as a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Ellevate Network, the largest community of women at work. 

Judi Ides, Loan Administration Manager at Torrey Pines Bank 

Although Judi has only been with Torrey Pines Bank since 2021, her impact on the team has been immediate. In addition to her leadership of the Loan Administration group where she oversees 15 people from San Diego to Los Angeles, she also leads Torrey Pines Bank’s Wellness Committee, serves as a chairperson for the CARES@Work Business Resource Group and is an active participant in our company's Women's Alliance BRG. Her active participation at Torrey Pines Bank is invaluable and through her support of these programs she’s also inspired others to get involved, encouraging women as emerging thought leaders in the organization. She prioritizes providing career coaching, guidance and development opportunities to her team, ensuring each person has the tools they need to be successful. 

Torrey Pines Bank is fortunate to have each of these women as part of our team and is looking forward to celebrating their nominations this month. In addition to the Tribute to Women & Industry Awards (TWIN), the In the Company of Women luncheon will include an inspirational keynote by producer and actor Vivica A. Fox, a champagne reception, and an exclusive VIP After Party. The proceeds from the event will benefit YWCA’s life-changing programs for adult and child survivors of domestic violence.
