
Matt Edwards joined the Western Alliance Bank team in 2022, bringing nearly two decades of experience to his role as national payables leader.
In his role, Mr. Edwards leverages his extensive experience in merchant services, supplier enablement, commercial card account management and card sales to lead Western Alliance Bank’s commercial card team. He helped direct the launch of the bank’s first ePayables system and supplier enablement campaign to deliver the bank’s streamlined, cost-efficient card program to customers. Prior to joining Western Alliance Bank, he held leadership roles at BBVA USA, most recently serving as vice president, supplier enablement manager.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Business and Marketing from Arizona State University West, graduating cum laude.
