Mark Short is the senior vice president of mortgage warehouse lending for Western Alliance Bank’s Specialized Mortgage Services group. Based out of the greater Dallas area, Mr. Short serves public and private non-bank mortgage companies in Texas and various national markets that require credit lines to fund consumer real estate loans.
Mr. Short is also a regional sales manager and oversees a team of warehouse lending sales officers and sales associates that actively manage mortgage finance and treasury management relationships, including traditional warehouse financing, MSR financing and working capital lines. He also collaborates with the correspondent sales team at AmeriHome Mortgage, a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Alliance Bank.
Before joining Western Alliance in 2020, Mr. Short was Senior Vice President of the Mortgage Finance Group at Wells Fargo Securities, where he managed warehouse lending clients nationally. He also held several positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including supervising a team of credit analysts as Director of Global Debt Products within the mortgage banking division.
He is an active member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.
Mr. Short earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
